Our Signature Offer

Strength & conditioning, built for cricket

Modern cricket demands more than technique, it takes strength, agility, speed and endurance. Our Combined Performance programme blends skill coaching with cricket-specific S&C, so you move better, perform consistently, and stay on the pitch all season.

Cricket-specific strength and conditioning training

Why It's Different

The one thing nobody local offers

Most coaches do skills. Some gyms do strength. Almost nobody around Hartley Wintney, Hook and Fleet does both, properly, under one roof.

That's exactly what Combined Performance is: your batting, bowling and fielding developed alongside the physical engine that powers them, programmed together, by coaches who understand the game and the body.

What You Build

A complete cricketer

Move Better

Mobility, control and efficient movement patterns that translate straight to your game.

Perform Consistently

The strength, speed and endurance to hold your standard from the first over to the last.

Stay Injury-Free

Cricket-specific conditioning that reduces injury risk and keeps you available all season.

How It Works

Skill and strength, programmed together

01 - Assess: understand the athlete

We start with a full picture of where you are: your game and position, how you move, any niggles or injury history, your training background, and your goals for the season ahead. This is what makes the programme yours rather than generic. A quick bowler and an opening batter need very different engines, and we build accordingly. You finish this stage knowing exactly what we are working on and why.

02 - Blend: one plan, not two

Here is the real difference. Instead of doing skills with one coach and strength with someone else and hoping the two fit together, your cricket coaching and your strength and conditioning are programmed as a single plan. Sessions are sequenced so your skill work and physical work support each other, rather than leaving you flat for the bits that matter most. Everything points at the same target: performing on match day.

03 - Progress: peak when it counts

We track your progress and adjust as the season unfolds. We build your base in the off-season, sharpen as the fixtures approach, and manage your training load so you arrive fresh and stay available. The aim is simple: hold your standard from the first game to the last, cut your injury risk, and finish the season stronger than you started it.

Combined Performance is offered as a season-long block. Prices depend on frequency and format, get in touch and we'll build the right programme around you.

Who is Combined Performance for?

Any cricketer who wants to perform better and stay on the pitch, from ambitious juniors to club and adult players. If you are serious about your game this season, this is built for you.

Do I need to be strong or experienced in the gym already?

Not at all. We coach the strength side from the ground up with proper attention to technique, so it suits complete beginners as well as experienced players.

How is this different from normal cricket coaching?

Normal coaching develops your skill. Combined Performance develops your skill and the physical engine that powers it, programmed together as one plan. Almost nobody local offers both under one roof.

When is the best time to start?

The off-season and pre-season are ideal for building your base, but there is real value in starting any time. Get in touch and we will build the right plan for where you are in your season.

Where does the training take place?

Skill work runs at Hartley Wintney Cricket Club and the Lucy Pygott Centre nets, with strength and conditioning at our gym base in Hook. We make the logistics simple.
